A great assembly today at Robert Ogilvie Elementary School.  We celebrated raising over $2000 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Thank you to the students, staff, parents, and PAC for bringing donations to support cancer research.  We have been learning about kindness, friendship, compassion and upstanding behaviour during our October assemblies.  Today, Captain Upstander joined us at the assembly.  He gave the student various examples of upstanding behaviour and encouraged students to be good friends to students outside and inside.  Captain Upstander also joined the students at recess time and encouraged them to be good friends.
