On Thursday, October 30th, our grade 6 students from both classes were able go on a field trip to North Peace Secondary to learn about all the trades available. They had an excellent day learning from the staff and students at NPSS. The highlight of the tour was the visit to the basement of the school where they learned about all the trades that operate the building. Â Students visited the woodworking shop, mechanics shop, the chemistry lab, the art lab and the library. Â After a brief break, some students went to the woodworking shop where they created birdhouses and the remaining students spent the rest of the day learning about the hairdressing apprenticeship program.
