photo-48 photo-47  “Jingle” – The Elf on the Shelf in the library has made a visit and has challenged the students in our school to bring mittens for the mitten tree in the library.  These mittens will be donated to boys and girls in Fort St. John who are in desperate need of warm hands and heads at Christmas.  Mrs. Nowell’s class has also set up the PJ Drive and we are a drop off site for PJ’s in FSJ.  Students can put pjs in one of the house team boxes in front of the library according to their house team colour.

Mrs. Bulmer has finally tallied all the funds collected for the Terry Fox Foundation.  Thank you for contribution to this worthy cause that supports cancer research.  Our school had donated $1400.00 which met our goal for this year.  Thank you to Mrs. Bulmer for organizing this and for counting and wrapping all the coins.

We would also like to thank the school for their donations to Operation Christmas Child.  We collected enough items to fill 130 boxes.  Thank you to Mrs. Holden for volunteering her time to sort and pack these boxers. A big thank you to ABC Thrift Store for their generous donation of stuffies and to One Ton Contracting for their generous donations of items.
