Welcome back to all our Robert Ogilvie Families and staff members.  The school is looking lovely, clean and fresh.  We are looking forward to a great 2015-2016 School Year.

       

We have a number of new staff and I would like to introduce them.  Mr. Tim Ylagan is our new Vice Principal.  He is replacing Mrs. Neuls who was re-assigned to Charlie Lake Elementary School.  Mr.Ylagen has ten years in the district and is very much looking forward to meeting everyone.  We have two teachers returning to our school from other schools. Welcome back Ms. Leed, who taught kindergarten at Robert Ogilvie in 2013-2014.  Welcome back to Mrs. Forster, who taught grade one here for many years. We are so excited about you re-joining our staff.  We also have a new staff member replacing Mrs. Lavoie. Welcome Ms. Lahucik to your grade 1 class.

2015-2016 Kindergarten Students:  Please be advised that the kindergarten teachers will be contacting all parents on Tuesday with the tentative schedule.  Kindergarten students will begin visiting our school on Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th.  These sessions will be 90 minutes long.  The kindergarten teachers will be at training on Friday, September 11th.  Kindergarten students will return on Monday, September 14th from 9:30-11:30 in larger groups.  The kindergarten teachers are using these sessions to see what students work well together and how students will adjust to different classrooms.  On Tuesday, September 15th, all parents will be called again with their student’ class assignment.  These classes will begin on Wednesday, September 16th for a full day. We may need to tweak lists a bit after September 16th but are hoping to keep this to a minimal.
