Classes took the challenge from our Garden Club to come up with a recycled planter and to fill it with edible plants! Members from NEAT came to judge the planters on the afternoon of June 1. Honorable mention was given to Ms Gauthier’s class’ boots and shoes planters and Mrs. Taillefer’s class blackboard planter. Mrs. Churchill’s class won the most attractive planter with their planter from a pair of blue jeans. Mrs. Wevers’ class won the most unusual planter with their planter made from three old basketballs. Mrs. Forster’s class won the most practical planter with their planter from two old dresser drawers. Be sure to come past the school to see the planters out on the front lawn!
