Candy Grams
Thanks to all of our school community for their support for our Leadership Club’s candy grams! The Leadership Club sold 964 candy grams at 25 cents each and raised $241! Well done! Thanks to Mrs. Taillefer,
Family Literacy Day World Record Attempt
We had lots of fun on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 participating in the World Record Attempt by reading 5 Robert Munsch stories to each class. 273 students and readers participated in the event! A special thanks to Mr.

On Friday, January 23 from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. all of our students will be listening to Robert Munsch stories as we join thousands of others across Canada in an attempt to create a world record for Family Literacy Day. Come and join us as we listen to fun stories and celebrate literacy!

R.O. Gala Night 2008!
We had a wonderful Gala Night on Dec. 18 which was enjoyed by many. Below are a number of pictures taken during the night. A big thank you goes to our PAC who donated funds so that students and their families could enjoy Gala Night activities without any cost.

We had a great day lounging around in our pajamas on Wednesday. Check out the pictures! Our next fun day will be on Friday, Dec. 19. It is ‘Wear Green Day’ for Christmas and Robert Ogilvie.

Skating
Classes are once again enjoying skating on Fridays from now until Spring Break. Classes have signed up for one or two Fridays to go skating. They skate from 10:30 until 11:20 at the Kids’ Arena. There is no cost for the skating,
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
Congratulations, Robert Ogilvie! Thanks to your hard work 195 children will receive shoeboxes full of presents this Christmas. That means we filled 195 shoeboxes with all sorts of goodies! Thanks to Mrs. Holden who organized Operation Christmas Child and helped fill all of the shoeboxes.
