Students had a great time on Friday carving pumpkins, making crafts during centres in the primary classes, going through the Haunted House, participating in the costume parade or going to the Hallowe’en Dance or Movie in the afternoon for the intermediate students. All staff were involved to make the day special for our students. Special thanks goes to the Leadership Club for organizing the colouring contest and creepy creature contest as well as the Haunted House,

Operation Christmas Child
Once again this year we are filling shoeboxes for children in Third World countries. Last year with Mrs. Holden’s help we filled a record number of boxes! Let’s try to fill as many again this year. On the attached notice you will see suggested items for each class to bring. Thank you for your help with this worthwhile project and thanks to Mrs.

Terry Fox Run
On Friday, Sept. 11 Robert Ogilvie participated in the Terry Fox Run in memory of Terry’s run across Canada to raise funds for cancer research. Students are asked to donate coins in Terry’s memory to continue his work.
